The denim are these DOPE pair of vintage Armani overalls that i “borrowed” from Bruce and Glen months ago, lol.
The military plaid topper is by a label called O1C…never heard of them previously, but I picked it up at Nordstrom’s last year (along with a green/navy version). And i saw it fitting to bust out the Pierre Hardy’s for this look. It’s quite hilarious how everyone who has seen this pic think I’m wearing a pair of J’s…but no, these are not Jordan’s…they’re Hardy’s…with socks…=D

The following is an image heavy post…but that’s because it is filled with wondermus images from the lookbook of one of my new favorite labels. I promise you won’t regret.
So, I randomly discovered ‘Virgin Blak” earlier this week and just didnt know what to do with myself…I still don’t! I Googled them, and much to my surprise…they haven’t gotten much press…I’m genuinely perplexed!
I mean, they offer some mighty fine pieces for prices that make you do a double take (in a good way). It’s so reasonable I kinda feel like a balla! lolol. I know we have a few more cold months here in NYC, but I almost wish I had discovered these guys earlier…I probably would’ve accumulated all of their items by now. I know it’s meant for men, but I feel the silhouette’s can definitely translate…plus…I’ve always been a fan of wearing men’s clothing…in a not-so-cross-dresser kinda way. About 80% of my denim and 50% of my jackets are from some stores guy section. I’m tall. So it works. Lol

I know I’m random, that’ll never change. I have grown to quite embrace my Randomology, the sooner you do, the easier it’ll be for everyone. Lol
I have absolutely no idea who created these, but my Mommy emailed them to me a few days ago. You see, she raised this random child, and after 20-some-odd years, has a good idea of what I get a kick out of, Lol. I definitely got a kick out of these:
They’re pencils….PENCILS!!! How frikkin dope! I want to collect them…I even want to try…drawing with them, lol. (please don’t tell anyone I said that….but it’s true)
I’m so perplexed as to how they can look so cute and cuddly…when…they’re sharp, lol. Wouldn’t these be so cool as brooches, or chARMS, or NECKLACES or RinNnNGssS?!?!? Ahhh!! I want them on my finger, I want them in my bookcase…and on my shoe-shelf…and on my windowsill.

I can’t say I’ve been much of a stud fanatic, but I can admit I enjoyed the trend. I’ve had this dress for about 2 years now, and it’s honestly one of my favs…I figured I’d bring it out for one last hoorah.
I don’t plan on throwing it out or giving it away…I may even wear it a few more times once the warm comes, I’m just genuinely over the stud craze…which may prevent me from reaching for this dress for a while.
the boots are my new fav. hey are by a designer Barbara Bucci. Spotting these was the first I had heard of her, but after some research I found another cool pair of boots that I just might snag now that winter items are starting to pop up on sale everywhere. Aren’t they cool??

I have heard many a voices in my day…none like this. I can solidly say…she is now my favorite singer…and this is honestly the only thing I have really heard from her, Lol. I’ve tried to venture into her other recordings, but I’m stuck here. It doesn’t help that America won’t make her music available to us, that’s how you KNOW she’s good! Haha, they keep all the great musicians far away from us..I mean…just turn on the radio for proof.
ANNYYWHO, her name is Vanessa Amorosi and I believe she is Australian. I was introduced to her music at a shoot I styled Friday by my cool new friend Jacob, who has quite the amzing taste in vocalists =D.

I’m such a velvet fanatic, I don’t care about anyone or their opinion when it comes to that. I actually wore this on New Years, and I must admit, I wasn’t quite sure how the velvet on velvet would read at first, but I am rather happy with the results =D
I found this jacket at Urban Outfitters during their after Christmas sale, the dress is from this dope designer named Liu Jo, it has this awesome chain belt…which initiated the attraction.
I think Im just gonna pile on every velvet article of clothing I own next week, Lol.
