Say what you will about the man that is Robert Kelly, but this dude is an UNDENIABLE musical GENIUS. This performance….MAN…UGGGGHHHhHHH!! This FRIKKIN performance….Riveting, and absolutely nothing short of that.

    Everyone – meet Joshie!





















    Quite possibly one of the dopest people I’ve ever been privileged to call home-slice :). We shot the breeze in my apt today and had about 10 impromptu photo shoots. This particular series was taken solely with my iPhone 4 using a filter/app called Vint Green….just about every app on my phone was added by or on the suggestion of Josh…this is the newest to come aboard…I kinda dig it ;) Check him out HERE.

    We tossed around a few story lines for the pics…but i’ll allow you guys come up with your own. What would you title the story??

    So this is the very first outfit post in the new crib! The craziest thing about this entire moving ordeal is….I dont miss my old apt at all. It’s like a new chapter has begun and the last is completely out of my system. Even when I went for my last walk-thru of the old place….I felt absolutely no attachment…almost like I hadn’t spent a year of my life there…instead of home, it just felt like vaguely familiar surroundings.

    The decor of my new abode is starting to come together. There was so much cleaning and organizing to do before addressing design, but now the plans are finally in motion and slowly beginning to materialize :). If you follow me on twitter then you have already gotten a peek at some of the furnishings I’ve picked up….its like cool pieces have managed to find me somehow…and both my new home and I have welcomed them with warm open arms! As soon as my work is done, you KNOW you guys will be the first to see the reveal =D

    Now onto the outfit:













    I found this crazy asym trench last year in my favorite thrift store. It isn’t vintage or anything, but the sales lady explained that a designer had dropped a bunch of random samples off at the store without explanation. Of course there was no tag so I have no idea as to who this designer might be…but…who really cares, the coat is just frikkin cool. Ever since New York’s weather decided to hi-jack London’s with all of it’s precipitation and gloom, I have been in a complete trench moment. There are three wardrobe items I collect: levi’s, biker jackets and trenches…and rain=trench to me…so there. (I don’t like explaining myself, that’s the best you’ll get, lol)

    Jaw dropping. My initial reaction after seeing what lied behind the link my beautiful friend Lauren tweeted me earlier today. “Of course she would find this.” was the thought that then followed. Beyond this link, this glorious link, was the most magically magnificent story of an enchanting white washed Victorian cottage tucked away it the Catskills. Owner (and reviver) of this 9×12 ft little piece of Heaven is Sandra Foster. She dreamed up this frothy cove years ago as a teenager, when her family’s home was burned down… way to hold on to a dream. Check it out!
