Told you guys I’d get around to posting these!! I’m so absolutely smitten with this vintage petticoat i found at a Brooklyn flea about a month or so ago. Something about underwear as outerwear is…liberating. I paired it with a vintage DKNY body, an H&M lace biker, that “loose keys” necklace I made a while back and these surprisingly amazing shoes from Irregular Choice.

Probably my favorite dress for the summer…and only 5 bux at my favorite little thrift store ;}. I’m also kind of slightly very much in love with these Zara platforms. I saw em. Had to have em. Got em. And MY how comfy they are!! I can literally (and have) run a block or two confident of their grip, lol.
Hope you guys have been well…as you can see, I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. Expect an interiors post soon. My folder is bursting at the seams! …and its one of those heavy duty, extra large, plastic folders…so you Know this is serious bizniz!

About a month or so ago, I was introduced to the coolest accessory label named “From Me 2 U”. A good friend of mine, Holly, happens to be a sales rep for the company based in the DC Metropolitan area. The method of creating these one of a kind, handmade pieces are top secret, but are classified as “digital earrings” and are even customizable if one would so request. Their website is currently under construction, but I was able to snap a few flicks of my own:
I was gifted these bad boys. We call them the infamous “Lint Lickers”! Hahaa

I’m probably never wearing this dress out, sometimes I forget how tall I am and over-estimate the length of things, lol. I love it tho, so very 80’s…might sell it to someone a bit shorter…or someone who doesn’t mind such a short frock.
The earrings are from this dope label called From Me to U, I’ve taken forever to do a post on them, but trust, it is on its way :)
Again I apologize for the slow up in posting but things have been hectic with work and looking for a new apartment and life in general. I’m also preparing to return to school this fall for Architecture! ….been working on the required 18 piece portfolio….yeaaaaa….doesn’t leave much time for blogging. I’m still here tho, and truly appreciate all of the love and support. Stayed home today to work on my portfolio. Worked out kinda perfectly…because I really wasn’t in the mood for being in that horrid weather. I must say it made for quite the therapeutic imagery being on the inside looking out…which prompted me to take these:

So as it turns out, even more pieces from American Rag have managed to find their way not only into my wardrobe, but amongst my favorite spring/summer pieces. As if I don’t talk about the twins enough, I must say that Bruce scored major points for these shorts. They’re just so darn….effortless. Great fit, great feel, its so throw on and go. So easy breasy, lol.
Paired with a blouse by Lush, my Anthro belt and BCBG heels.
I hope this post doesn’t seem rushed. I just want to get back to enjoying this marvelous day =D.

The Divine Chair Company is an amazing boutique I discovered a few months ago based in NYC. They refurbish, refinish and reupholster vintage seating. Their imagination is quite tremendous, and their mix of colors and prints never cease to amaze me! In addition to what their own minds brew up, custom requests from clients are more than welcome! IMAGINE! Oh, the limitless possibilities. Any mixture of fabrics, textures and color pallets one could fathom could be attained 8}.

As I was sitting in my room watching hulu in the dark last night, the stark light from my computer inspired to to shoot my new blouse from Free People. the leather skirt is from C.Ronson and slingbacks are Prada.

Found this really cool quilted circle skirt during one of my vintage adventures about two weeks ago. I’ve been really into this lady-like silhouette lately. I have been collecting skirts like these for some time now…and I think it’s time I begun actually donning them, as opposed to just using them as some sort of closet decor.
The cropped top is a bit more forward than my typical, but given the high waist skirt and belt, I figured it was worth a try.
